Hi, Im A FEMALE from Puerto Rico and recently got an internship on D.C. I want to find a studio or apartment furnished near to 800 Independence Avenue, SW and near to public transportation. My intern is from june 22 to august 29. Can somebody help me??? PLEASE.

First, check your lease to find out if it allows you to sublet. Many leases have clauses in them forbidding this.
Check with your lanlord to find out how they feel aobut it. Open a conversation with them.
Maybe enlist the help of a rental agency to help you find a suitable subletter. Be sure to check their background- crimianl history, rental history, credit, etc.
Sign a contract with the person you find so everything is in writing with minimal opportunity for "misunderstandings", "miscommunications" and other potential problems.
Consider taking a deposit from this person for cleaning, security, etc.
A rental agency could help you with all this.
