Since my mom's tenants will not let her pool service on the property or me because I'm not on the deed, I would like to find a form that will let me act as my mother's representative in respect to the fact that she in an absentee landlord.

We called the police department to make a report in respect to the tenants not allowing anyone on the property and they said to get a notorized form with me, her daughter, named to act on her behalf with the ability to enter the property with proper notice.

I've looked all over online but am having a hard time finding this form specifically relating to Florida landlord representative.

Please help!

Basically you need a power of attorney specifically for whatever your mother wants you to do. You've got a real bad situation here w/ those tenants and I suggest you seriously educate yourself on your responsibilities and rights in LL/tenant law. Pronto.

If your tenants have a lease, get a copy and read every word of it. You may very well need legal advice here before it's all over.

A friend who's an attorney wrote a basic one out for me & has been sent to mom to sign & notarize.

She does have her own attorney to handle the eviction; hearing set for Nov. 12th.

This is just a situation where the tenants won't let anyone on the property, including me, her daughter without calling the police. Their eviction background indicates that they fully understand the ins/outs of living somewhere without paying rent. I totally suggest anyone who wants to be a landlord in Florida realize that it seems that everything is for the tenant & not the landlord.
