oh we would LOVE to retire and drive fulltime. I guess if you have the traveling bug, go ahead. Right now we have a fifth wheeler but leave it seasonally as our boys are only 7 & 8.

Cant wait for college to come ; they go out one door and we go out the other one and travel.

Hello everyone!
I want to travel fulltime. My spouse is afraid to leave our 24 Y/O son on his own. I would take him along. If that is the case, has anyone an estimate how much the monthly expenses would be (not counting food and entertainment) for us traveling in a motorhome fulltime, visiting from Alaska to Miami? Snow birds, you know?

Overnight stays can run between $15.00- $100.00 per night depending on where you stay. State parks are usually inexpensive and also casino's(Indian) throughout the country have good prices for overnight stays. I would join a discount club like Passport America. They have some decent parks at half price.

The longer you stay the less the park will cost. If you are snow birding in FL you can find monthly parks from about $400.00 up to $2000.00 not including electric.

There are so many variables. Check out rv.net in their forums. Good luck.
