3:30am is when I wake up with answers to questions I can't figure out when I'm awake. Done that my whole life.

When I went looking for a cat to adopt, the angel I got was not even close to my list. She totally ignored me, was not interested in being my friend, & I didn't even think she was very pretty. Her markings make her look like she has a mustache.

But, I 'd made a promise to myself that I would take the neediest cat & she had been there 5 months, stuck in that cage. So I had to pick her.

It took a couple of months for her to adjust & there were times she wanted me to wake up but I just told her no & eventually she caught on.

Now, you've complained about Sam before so it may be time for you to give him up.

I will say that the angel that grudgingly came to live with me has become a little lover.

I think since everyone seems to wake up at 3:30am, let's all go outside and scream "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore!"

The car deal went away. They seem awfully proud of their vehicles. We are not paying what they want. So now we are looking (again) at the Volt. It's a tight fit for me, but fits the wife better. And the Niro PHEV. Inexpensive and looks interesting.

And the Lexus 300h, which considerably more expensive. That will require reversing our purchase plan, which was to buy a less expensive car this time, and a more expensive one in a couple of years.

Biding our time.

I hate buying cars! Did I say that already?

I am so there for you. It was torture when I went looking for a car . But, the moment I sat in & then drove my Nissan Cube, that was it. I got a decent deal, drove it off the lot & haven't looked back. But oh, what a process it was looking at & trying out other cars. And the wheeling/dealing that goes along with that. Hopefully mine will last a long, long time before I have to go through that again.

Now Jim, let's be reasonable. A lot of us have neighbors that would not appreciate that. It's a good thought though.

I'll have to pass on that as I usually go to bed around 1:30; at 3:30 I am dead to the world.

Wow, Sam let me sleep till 5:30 this morning. Maybe he has heard me talk about re-homing him and he doesn't want to leave? Who knows.

He's quite a love-bug, so I'll miss him a lot if I have to let him go. Some choices are harder than others.

My other cat GG is very sweet and very quiet. Polar opposites!

LOL...if we have to be awake everyone else should be too! Went to bed at 10:00 last night, woke up at 12:00, back to sleep around 1:00 and got to sleep in till 6:00. Whoohoo! And, for some reason, I'm not hearing Mr. Rooster next door this morning either.

Good morning everyone! I think a solid night's sleep goes by the wayside as we age. In our house we have 3 seniors [over 60] and not a one of us can sleep through the night anymore. Hi ho, Hi, ho -- it's off to the biffy we go.....

And yes, we have a couple of dog/cat related wake-ups thrown-in, too. Not every night, but every so often. But as a rule we all can fall back asleep, so it's okay....
