Colbert had an Englishman on his show a while back and he said she has no idea what she's in for. He said the royal family are all dysfunctional.

Well Saturday was Colorado Public Lands Day, a day to support and use the public lands. It was a nightmare here, hundreds of dirt bikes and 4 wheelers racing around, tearing up closed areas racing on private property.

This morning on my walk, I picked up 4 bags of trash, beer bottles, chip bags, Sonic cups...also picked up three CLOSED AREA signs these animals tore down. I could fill about 10 large dumpsters with the trash I saw.

Yeah, so much for respecting public lands.

Still in New Orleans this morning! Our Munchkins bailed out on us and are headed back home, so today it will be a boat ride on the Mississippi River, and then the WW2 Museum for the balance of the day! It is huge and air-conditioned!

It’s sunny and 71 this morning, the cat and I are sitting on the lanai listening to all the birds. The cat is patrolling the pool cage hoping to find a lizard, but no luck so far. We have heavy rains in the forecast for the holiday weekend, so I’m enjoying this while I can.

Amazon showed a package delivered here yesterday from FedEx. It was not. I called FedEx and when they said it was delivered and started going down that path, asking if I had been home, they stopped when I told them I was home and had Ring doorbell and security cam footage showing no delivery during that time and no one on our road for the three hours prior. I also had a picture from AMZL, Amazon’s delivery company, for a different package, 12 minutes after the alleged FedEx delivery. AMZL snapped a pic of the package on my doorstep and it’s uploaded to view under tracking in Amazon. I wonder if UPS, FedEx and USPS will start doing that? It makes sense. The guy dropping the package off, snapped the pic as he was walking away with a handheld device, it looked easy enough.

FedEx asked me to wait two days before contacting Amazon for a refund or replacement in case the package shows up. They were contacting the terminal to check with the driver. I’m sure the package was delivered somewhere, just not here.

Wow yesterday cloudy cool, storms and it rained. Actual rain. Got a whole 1/10th of an inch but enough to knock this dust down. 38 degrees this morning, clouds nice cool breeze.

Forecast is for near 100 Memorial Day weekend which I am dreading.

Default Too many Amazon Returns?

Hah ! Another reason to quit Amazon Prime. I recall getting a letter several months ago about my returns. Every one was for a good reason. If they decide to block me from buying, good for them. Am going to cancel anyway when the price goes up.
