So sorry to hear that. It's been a month since I lost my cat and I still miss her. They are our 'friends', aren't they? ((((Jim))))

My daughter had a beloved blue heeler also. He was very special and he died very suddenly a few years ago. Jim, this takes time to get over and know that many of us have gone through this recently too. I still miss my Boomer who passed on in January.

Such sadness, Jim. It’s hard to lose one of the bright spots in your life. I’m so sorry.

Thank you everyone. I called the EXGF who left him with me when she threw me away three years ago out of compassion for her since she raised him from a puppy, I got the "thanks for killing my dog you …".

Anyway, it was a tough night, I woke up reached down to pet him where he typically sleeps next to my bed.

sigh...

Oh my god! I am so glad she is out of your life. She is a hateful, despicable person.

I understand about the reaching for the pet that isn't there anymore. Very painful. You will always think about that special dog; hopefully the pain will ease up for you.

OMG. What a dreadful thing to say. You are well rid of her and I hope you never have to have any contact with her again.

I responded to you on the Dogs sub-forum but I'll reiterate here how sorry I am. Sending you comforting thoughts as you adjust to this sad change in your life.

Jim -- Very sorry to hear of the loss of one of your dogs. They are such devoted companions. How is your other Pup doing? It has to be hard for him/her too.

Also sorry to hear about your experience with the ex-girlfriend. Her response was uncalled for. Downright mean.
