Oh no! Do you feel like sharing why? (I don't mean to pry, but I have to admit I am curious, because moving from these tough northern winters to sunny FL is so very, very appealing).

Even here, in the usual land of the sun, we have all day rain. All those people who came here from other parts for the SB fun are saying now " Why did we do this?" Alot of activities have reduced attendance.

I grew up in that weather in the Chicago area. Weather wasn't my reason for moving west, but it was a real bonus.

I feel for you.

Well I don't like the cold and I don't like long winters.
As soon as I hit 18 I moved south..Florida and then Texas.

Texas winters last about 2 months but they are not solid "winter".
We just had 3 days of 70's and sunshine. So nice to get out and do "yard stuff".
Next few days in the 40's and 50's and then back to the 60's.

That's my kind of winter.

(Change of subject) One of those moments which remind me how lucky I am to live in Southern California: This afternoon my season ticket renewal form from the Los Angeles Master Chorale arrived in the mail. Seven concerts for $800 (top level of several levels of seating prices) seems like a bargain when I think of the enjoyment I derive from them.

That is a bargain. I budget for entertainment & that is certainly within reason. Enjoy!

I understand we have theater season tickets and they are more than worth. Ours are Friday night so it is a great date night

I feel like a groundhog, poked my head up today and tested the air, it was blue skies, sunny, and warm, 30 degrees. People were out about walking around town, so nice to see. I actually walked outdoors, got some takeout soup, and attended a free classical guitar concert. Now back in my hole, just before the next round of snowstorm starting tomorrow. One thing about living up here, it makes you grateful for the small breaks.

LMAO negirl, we're hunkering down for winter storm Linus as well. Nice that you got the concert in before hibernating. You've got that right about appreciating the small warmup breaks in the weather up here. I went to feed the horses in my thermal jumpsuit and didn't wear my fleece boot liners or hoodie underneath *GASP*

On a different note, go Patriots!

And the Budweiser commercial wins again!!!!!!!!!!No, tied for first place with the Nissan commercial!! BTW this is the first time in eighteen years Nissan has advertised during the Super Bowl!!!

Coca Cola is a solid second place witth the anti bullying ad!!!!!!! Now tied with the Dove Men Care ad!!!!!!!!

OK enough, have a good night all!!!!!!
