You don't have to get married to have a partner. After my stepfather died, my mother found a boyfriend. They never lived together, but were intimate, even after they moved into the same nursing home. My wife's father lost his wife when they were in their early 50s. He had two long terms partners over the next 40+ years. They never lived together. His last partner lived next door. They were a really sweet couple.

There are lots of options.

The next door / or within walking distance has worked very well for a few folks I know

I was married when I posted this. My wife passed a year ago and I still feel the same way though I do admit I could go for just a dinner companion/FB and leave it go at that.....LOL

Recently nipped something in the bud when she started talked about living together and sharing expenses thus back to looking for the dinner companion/FB.......LOL
