I pray I don't have to go thru that "expectation" .

No doubt when my hormones changed so to did my great relief of not having to "perform". My sensibility chimed in. It's messy ...it's no longer a "duty".

I simply do not find men attractive in a sexual.way.
I do find them delightful and charming.

At 49 even with using Viagra sex wasn’t possible. Turns out he had prostrate cancer and treatment saved him and ended the sex life. Have been to specialists and only a penile implant not covered by insurance will work. We both miss it. Some of my friends husband’s aren’t interested but all the women still are.

I'm 77 and have always enjoyed it.

While I have not done this and probably will not, younger men would probably be the way to go.

My most recent "friend" really thought he was "hot stuff" but even with the stuff he used to enhance it, it was never that "hot."

I'm doing fine without it.

LOL well I never expected this to come back to life. I started the initial post and I was 56. Now I am 61. We still think about sex, I think.

Fortunately, I had an active/good sex life. When under 30 I wanted more, 30 to 60 I got all I could handle. At about age 60 my desire started falling off to where once or twice a week was fine. Now at age 77, every week to 10 days is enough unless she is new and young.........LOL

Im 56 and on the rare ocassions when im asked about sexual activity, i say i get all i want. Problem is i dont want it as much anymore. Bummer.
Once a week is good enough for me. Sometimes im lucky to only get it once a month. Other times its 2 or 3 times a week, lucky me.
My OH is now 60, and in the same boat, so at least we agree!

I think my mind wants it more than my body does. My mind may not be satisfied, but my body seems to be.

And sometimes its just a lot of work.....

Also depends on your partners needs and wants and timing.

Do you both want need and have the same timing? If so bada bing bada boom.

If not its either solo or wait paitently. And solo is not so fun anymore. I can do that with 5 finger Sally anytime, but its... not as...satisfying, at least not as fun as my teen years....when i wasnt getting any, or rarely getting it.

The younger ones LOOK appealing, but not sure i could keep up with them now!

So im happy where im at. Hopefully will feel the same way in 10 years!!
