My 30s were fine, but I would not want to be 35 in 2014.
These are the best years of our lives, especially since we moved to our present location 12 years ago. We plan to retire in the house where we now live.

Up to 5 years ago I had the same plan. Now absolutely no way would I retire here. I even went as far as telling DW hope you like your new place (jokingly)! Now our plan has changed and we are seriously looking at new places.
The best years of my life overall, were from 47 - 57 years of age when I worked as a stripper in El Paso, TX. I absolutely LOVED my job. I had my 6 dogs, great income, lots of stimulation, was remodeling my house, lots of travel, great dating opportunities, etc. And most importantly, my physical strength and ability was tremendous. And I must add, I finally had enough experience and common sense to make good decisions and stay out of trouble while having the time of my life.
my childhood, most definitely, and the years from mid thirties until mid forties. in the mid thirties period we lived in the kind of house and setting i think we'd always dreamed about and had a life of informal, impromptu get-together s with a group of friends we saw on a pretty consistent basis. we did more in terms of going to concerts, theater productions, movies, dining out, and travel, even if some of it was short weekend trips. i felt there was always something to look forward to.
i don't think i'd want that life now, even if it were possible; much has changed. but, i'm very grateful for the wonderful memories.

I never saw a stripper that old, but I stopped looking long before I got that old. Congrats on having fun!

Why did you stop? Seems there's an audience for strippers everywhere, though maybe on the older side.
