My local library had a help wanted sign posted. Hours were Monday and Tuesday 5-9pm and Thursday 1-9pm. Shelving books. To bad I am not retired or I would have applied. Perfect part time job. I bet it pays $9 -10 an hour.
It is so great to be in that position, namely the position where earning or not earning more money is a non-issue. All of us in that position should consider ourselves fortunate. I know I do.

I absolutely do consider myself and my wife very fortunate to consider that. We are not retired but that is just around the corner. We are not rich by any means. We are just well off.
Minimum wage has gone up to $8.05 in AZ. Big whoop. Although that's .30 higher than it's been for years. I don't know anyone who starts for less than $8 hour now anyway, in any business. It MIGHT hit $15 hour in ten years! Or more.
I am fortunate that I can work part time and be paid well for it. It is also something that I enjoy and want to continue to do as long as I am able. Maybe not in the same situation but it is not work if it is something you enjoy. I do not really need the money either but I do enjoy it coming in. :-)

How about the option: eligible to retire, still happily working.
