Though I know every episode by heart, I watch M.A.S.H. just before retiring ,a bit like listen to music.
Some times 10; or 12; but I'm usually up at 4;30-5; am depending on how I sleep.
By 7-8 the chicken let men know their hungry and I need to deal with them.
It's 6;34 right now and the sun is just shining on my barn, the day is getting started. I've got a lot of work to do this morning before the trash man comes, but I don't like making a lot of noise this early in the AM, others are still sleeping.

Sunday thru Thursday, wife/I are in bed by 10 to 10:30PM and up Monday thru Friday at 6:45AM, when she gets up to go to work. I see her off everyday she goes. She rolls down the window in the vehicle and I give her a little smooch "goodbye" and wave "bye" as she leaves. I'm retired, but she isn't. Doesn't bother me to get up in the AM since I grew up on a farm and spent time in the military years ago. Latest I've ever slept in was 9AM and for me, that was LATE!

On weekends, I will wake up around 7 or 8AM, but will let her sleep in, if she wants to.

I used to be a morning person. When I worked I went to bed at 9:30 p.m. and got up at 5:30 a.m. then slept in a wee bit on weekends and went to bed a bit later.

In retirement I kicked those habits going to bed later and getting up later as well.

Now that my wife has left I'm reverting to being a morning person again coupled with going to bed earlier.

If I had my druthers I think I'd go to bed earlier and get up later. Less awake time to fill.

I'll have to work on that!

Marilyn is an early riser too although not as early as me. I am up by 3:15 or so while she is a 6:00 am person .

We are usually at the gym by 7 am and done by 8 am.

In fact we have a special early morning pass to the ny botanical gardens that gets us in at 6 am since we are photographers.

We really love our early mornings whether out taking pictures or fishing.

My spouse gets up every morning between 6 and 6:30. Usually the dog wants to go out and she's ready to get up too. She quietly leaves and closes the bedroom door and I sleep another hour or more. Then again she goes to bed earlier than me.

I'll be interested to hear how you're doing in a few months. Time may not cure everything but it does help with many things. Any casseroles at your door yet?

LOL! Thankfully, no. Being somewhat reclusive the word hasn't gotten out and I'm not broadcasting it.
