It depends on how long I live after "retirement", and how long I can work part-time. I'd say $2000-4000/month in today's dollars, depending on whether I live alone or with other people. Most likely, I'll live with others.

If I have to quit work at 80 or something, and then live 15 more years, I'm in trouble. Women live too long!!

Do youself a favor if you still can. Get long term care insurance. If you can't afford any other kind of investment, get that and keep it paid up. That's my financial tip for the year.
