There must be someone in the world you care about.

My best friend, who certainly did not have to and who I did not expect to be there, came to my father's funeral. She drove 70 miles to get there.

I will forever be grateful for her love and support.

If there's no one in the world you care about, it's not too late to find someone.

I'm tired of no one accepting blame for
their own misbehavior
After all isn't society the root of ALL evil

For me as I've gotten this older, I have more patience. I IGNORE a lot of stuff. People I don't want in my life, I avoid. I get on my soapbox about politics now and then, but get off and them battle it out.

A few people on C-D who emphatically say it's This Way, No Other Way. This grips me as there is so much GREY MATTER and UNKNOWNS about everything in the world.

The last wedding we went to - we were stuck with a family where the guy was a rich ignorant a**hole. He treated the servers like crap - sending back everything they placed in front of him. Besides introductions - never talked to us - we were beneath him - we left after dinner. We really didn't want to go but did so as my son was in the wedding.

Funerals - again I agree a waste of time. If a person doesn't have enough time for me when I'm alive - why bother attending a wake or service after I'm dead. My family doesn't need condolences from people they've never met - to hear I'm sorry - they were such great people yada, yada. As it is - if someone dies that I am close to - I go and say my prayers and sign the book when the family isn't there - I pay my respect for the deceased at that time.

Jeeeeeeez Louise!
What a bunch of old cranks! ( I am 64 ).
Lost patience with?

Death
Too many people dear to me.Why do we have to die? Why is life so cheap?
Beloved animals too.Such loving and faithful companions.
The inability of humans to learn and progress. We, as a species, are barely out of the caves.
We lie, cheat and steal.People are cowards. NOTHING is ever enough. We cling to stupid Bronze Age superstitions to explain things.
All the rest are minor irritations, don't last very long and aren't worth bringing up.

People who always need a "pat on the back." Those people who always have to have constant recognition for everything they do. Drives me crazy. Get over yourself. You are no better or more important than the next person. You do what you do because you have to or you are being helpful, not because you need to be acknowledged.

I'm pretty much the same way. I'm enjoying our new life here in Tennessee too much to let myself get wound up. Then again, when I was still working, one of my managers told me that I had the patience of Job.

Default ...running out...

Rude behavior and negative remarks (as opposed to positive criticism).
