Next time you complain you can't do something because you're too old or too tired, think of 85-year-old Min Bahadur Sherchan.

This Nepali man wants to become the oldest person to ever climb Mount Everest.

Hearing that he's Nepali, he'll likely do it without so much help. Sometimes the poor sherpas are practically carrying the whatever (blind, handicapable, oldest) person up and down just so they can have the "title" - completely meaningless.

I just must be a do nothing...because I have no desire to do anything like that. at. all.
I want to become the oldest person just laying on a chaise lounge in the shade at a lake in the mountains.

I don't know what kind of shape I will be in at 85 (including whether or not "room temperature" would be a characteristic value), but if / when I retire I am looking forward to doing climbing of some type. The type will depend on my condition. Realistic goal would be doing some 14ers here in the US. Who knows beyond that.

Mt Everest is littered with bodies who made it up but not down.
