I'll never stop buying books and adding to my library. I've been this way since I started to read. There are other things I buy as well, but books are NUMBER ONE.
LOL, I'll admit to being a girly girl. I love shoes. I think women who go to Europe for 10 days and only take 2 pair of shoes are aliens out to take over our bodies. cute sandals are my favorites.

I am in the same situation...I haven't read them all but possession is 9/10ths of the law...so to speak. God won't take me until I read all of those books...I hope. I have a very hard time parting with books. I went to the American Library Association convention a few years ago and went crazy coming home with 65 books given away by publishers. Most were advanced copies. I'm still working through those and did give a few away.
We brought our son's old Legos from the NY attic to FL. My granddaughter looked at me and asked "All of this was for one kid?" She is being raised by a frugal Mom.
I have a train table set up in the office/playroom/2nd guestroom that had Brio/Thomas trains but is now Lego central. I had to tape a string dividing line on the table to keep the peace. One grandkid is all about perfection and following instructions, while the other is anout putting together original designs and is messy.
I love building with them too and helping when they ask (usually can I pry one piece off another). I have never lost the desire for more Legos. I don't think there can be too many. I ordered a Santa Workshop expert set with 883 pieces for me. I'll let them help, but it isn't getting taken apart to make other designs.... for a while.
Books! I had the hardest time with paring down my books before I moved cross country. Since I've moved, I haven't purchased any new books because I still have paperbacks stored in boxes. I really need to purchase a bookcase (or two!) before I start buying new books.
