I recently renewed my license in NY to an “enhanced” license. This gives me access to federal buildings, border access from Canada, Mexico, and some countries in the Caribbean. We also have TSA Pre-check status. Finally, we have passports as well. Looking forward to traveling, but with caution. I’m a bit leery about the flora (stomach problems) and overall security of some places, but am determined to get out there and experience the world beyond my comfortable confines.

Us as well. Plans are to travel overseas for 3-4 weeks every year until we can't physically do it.

I have a 64 (almost 65) year old male friend who makes a trip to European countries or to southern California (either Newport Beach or Orange County or Laguna Beach) and sometimes San Francisco before the preceding.......

every two or three weeks!!

So in-between all these constant trips, he has only 2 to 3 weeks at home.

He is so wild - he is constantly going to Europe....all year long.....and intersperses a California trip in-between each Europe trip.

He stays in Europe for 3 weeks and 4 weeks (occasionally 2 weeks) each time.

He is always surprising me.

We play bridge with a couple here. His brother and SO are never home. Every time we talk with our friends that couple is somewhere else in the world. Basically that's all they do. And they are loving it.

We live close to California now and have friends who lived there before moving here. Their son still does. They took us with them to the Laguna Beach area last year and their son played tour guide. If we had enough money we would move there.
