I am a psychologist in a hospital.
And I am already being asked to do some part-time private work, but I just don't want to right now. Maybe in six months or a year I'll feel different.
Congratulations. I 'retired' two years ago because my wife and I both started collecting Social Security and she gets a nice pension from Fred Meyers.
LOL...we are still working almost full time, staying just under the limit for additional income if you collect SS. We don't work full time, but at least three days a week is normal. (No weekends though)
The other day I looked at her and asked when we would actually START retirement.
Big congrats! Admittedly, I'm still in the honeymoon phase, (retired 8 mo's ago), but I think you'll love the ability to slow down and decide what you want to do and where you want to do it. No more stress of having to meet other people's deadlines.
