If your deceased spouse was taking social security disability (which is basically the same as FRA social security) and they die at age 62, what does the surviving spouse get if the survivor take's survivor benefits at their personal FRA? My assumption is that they get the deceased spouse's full amount until they take their own at 70 or whatever they choose? is that correct?
