I met my DH at fifteen and he was eighteen. We've been married for fifty-two years.

We had two really rugged spots during the marriage but managed to work through them.

Nope. Got engaged but then she started cheating. I got the ring back (I let her keep the finger it was on as part of the deal). She dropped that guy and worked for a doctor.

She eventually married a doctor. Had kids. Then the Doc was busted for illegal drug sales. They lost the house, his top position in a major hospital and they split.

Karma although slow came back to her

I had two high school sweethearts. my freshman and sophomore love has been married (at least) three times and my junior and senior love was convicted of rape later in life. both were good-looking, popular, high school jocks. thank god I didn't marry either one!

My most serious college boyfriend was a sweet boy; but, I wasn't a fully formed human being when I was in love with him. we were only 21! if we had married it would have been a disaster....I'm positive. I married my equal and partner at 30 and we have been happily together 30 years.

A close friend's brother finally married his high school sweetheart, after two failed marriages. For this first time in many years, when I see him he looks happy.

Default Another one I thought of

My husband's cousin was 14 when she met her husband to be who was 19. They dated until she was 19 and he was 24.

Last year, we were present at their son's wedding and they had all the couples come up that were married 35 years or more.

Quite a few - they were married 40 at the time!

Still very happy also.

I, for one, am glad i never married any of them.

'Nuff said.

(They are probably just as glad to have not married me, too)

I met my future husband when I was 12. We went to the same junior/senior high school. We never dated in school. We married when I was 28, which was the year that he would become 31.

I didn’t have a high school sweetheart. But I met my husband when I was 19, he was 18. We worked together. We got married when I was 21, he was 20.

My one and only, day after tomorrow is our 42nd anniversary.
