Nope. Got engaged but then she started cheating. I got the ring back (I let her keep the finger it was on as part of the deal). She dropped that guy and worked for a doctor.
She eventually married a doctor. Had kids. Then the Doc was busted for illegal drug sales. They lost the house, his top position in a major hospital and they split.
I had two high school sweethearts. my freshman and sophomore love has been married (at least) three times and my junior and senior love was convicted of rape later in life. both were good-looking, popular, high school jocks. thank god I didn't marry either one!
My most serious college boyfriend was a sweet boy; but, I wasn't a fully formed human being when I was in love with him. we were only 21! if we had married it would have been a disaster....I'm positive. I married my equal and partner at 30 and we have been happily together 30 years.

A close friend's brother finally married his high school sweetheart, after two failed marriages. For this first time in many years, when I see him he looks happy.
Saw my wife first when she was 15, started dating at 16, kids starting at 21 and now it's 50 years later (from the day I first saw her).
Still together.
I met my future husband when I was 12. We went to the same junior/senior high school. We never dated in school. We married when I was 28, which was the year that he would become 31.
I didn’t have a high school sweetheart. But I met my husband when I was 19, he was 18. We worked together. We got married when I was 21, he was 20.
My one and only, day after tomorrow is our 42nd anniversary.
