After almost fifty years of marriage the wife and I have sex almost every day: almost on Monday, almost on Tuesday, almost on Wednesday…

I'm 68 this month, my girlfriend is 63.

We've never missed more than 2 days, and often, we are active multiple times during the day. We were at a 90 year old's birthday party 2 years ago, and one of the guests was a 95 year old female who just came back from her 4the trip trekking in Nepal.

With, in HER words, her 65 year old "boy toy". I had no idea how to respond, as my jaw dropped!

The idea that sex must stop when a senior is fallacious.

Sex is still enjoyable and desirable for many seniors. Unfortunately, illness, medications and prostrate cancer treatments have ended it for some men.

Been married 43 years. 63 and 64 yrs old. My husband developed prostrate problems years ago. So no we have not have sex in years. We have other ways of expressing love and we are extremely close. He has tried some things and they have not worked. I am fine with our lives and the intimacy we have without sex.

Therapists will say to never withhold sex from your partner, even if you are upset with them......what? You are supposed to make love to someone you are pissed off at?

You are not supposed to deprive your man....it will upset him and make him feel unwanted. What about upsetting the woman? It doesn't upset her to force herself to have sex with someone she doesn't even want to be in the same room with, at the moment?

A man doesn't need an erection to have an orgasm or give one to his partner. I think most men with ED can still orgasm with oral sex, and it works better than intercourse for a lot of women.

Bob, once you have been through prostrate cancer treatments nothing works except a penile implant and insurance doesn’t cover it. We have been to specialists and tried everything they had.

Meh my wife is around your age and I’m way younger. We still play hide the salami twice a week. Thank god sex with my wife never became a chore

Sorry to hear that. Was just pointing out that most medical treatments are aimed at creating an erection which may not give the man any pleasure and which are not needed to pleasure a woman. The main thing is the orgasm, it desn't matter how you get there. The libido, not the mechanics is most important.
