Quite honestly that can be a pretty short list Which is sad. But... purpose to be an encourager of others and invest yourself in others and it might rub off! (There is proof of that).

I have recently lost some very great friends who were my lifelong encouragers.
They were not amazing, or well accomplished. They were just a lot of fun and very practical and always happy to see me or my family. I loved to hear their adventures and even their trials (They had plenty).

I want to be one of those .

This is a good start!, Thx Sera

My friends did not inspire me. Family was apathetic, discouraging or critical. I ask the question because everyone I know of maintains and is satisfied with status quo. That's okay and maybe laudable if you are happy with no unfullfilled goals, dreams. Everyone is content for different reasons. Especially for uneducated people.

I am learning how to play the ukulele it is fun trying to learn something new. We are slowly doing some remodel work on our home. We picked up playing pickleball since COVID and gyms were iffy. That is a lot of fun as well!

My spirituality growth is an ongoing process of learning and bettering myself.

Life can to be exciting with new adventures, but don’t dismiss every day activities as being in a rut. They are what you make of them.
I love this, thank you!

I’ve been retired five years now. The first three years were horrible for me. I grieved for the person I knew I would never be again. That person that worked 12 hour days six days a week, always driven to achieve the next goal.
When an opportunity came for me to return to the pastoral ministry I jumped at the chance to be busy again, not really knowing what I was getting into after being away from it for decades. It turned out to be a lifesaver for me. I realized I was doing now what I should have been doing all along.
All of this just to say that my wife and I have agreed that we will do all we can to finish strong.

You aren't depressing me, because that is not my life. But YOU sound pretty depressing.

Life happens, became a widow, continuing to live as a single individual. My first trip solo two years later, then an unexpected trip to the Middle East, solo, joined a tour.

Learning Not to stereotype, uneducated people, as far as education ? they, I may have more common sense !

My Lord tells me to share the good news (gospel), am being bolder, especially in these days.

Life is an adventure, I'm a sojourner on this earth, living one day at a time, till my Lord calls me to my eternal home.

But not as depressing as the discussion of the 4 TRILLION dollar "give away", that's creeping ever closer to passing, in Washington....if that passes, none of us will be "maintaining".

I'm still interested in things. I enjoy "researching" and learning about things that catch my attention. The internet is a great tool. I am physically less able but still can take care of myself and my home. My dog is a fine, low maintenance companion.

I like my slow relaxed life. I don't feel the need to improve it.
