Yes if your income is very low your only choice is Medicaid! When my income dropped I was automatically put on it.

Well, in Texas, you won't even get an automated acknowledgement. Good luck with that. They are no help to anyone who pays their wages.

I have to disagree with this. My Congressman in Texas responded very quickly to my plea for help in dealing with the IRS. They were very responsive to me, easy to work with and worked on my behalf to quickly resolve the issue, to my favor.

I clicked on a contact link on his website stating my issue and giving my contact info. I wasn't really expecting anything at all, just a last ditch, desperate act to get help. To my surprise, his office called me later that day. The last call was from the Congressman himself to touch base with me. I was impressed.

Wouldn't hesitate to contact his office again if I need assistance with any Federal agency

Because my income dropped I was forced on Medicaid. I owe Approximately *58 THOUSAND Dollars + ONLY because I was a senior citizen between 55 & 65 years old. To make matters worse The agency that handles this Has new employees & NOW says I owe $164,000. Seniors are paying for the Medicaid expansion. It is CLEARLY age discrimination & some states refuse to collect it. If someone can bring this up with Governor Murphy I would appreciate it. He claims he against discrimination of any kind. We will see!

No one in the retirement section is connected to NJ governor Murphy. As I told you in your thread Medicaid Recovery is Age Discrimination, you'd be better off starting a thread in the New Jersey section where you could find people in that target age group that this medicaid payback would apply to. If you do make a thread in the NJ section, make sure you title it so that people know you're talking about getting switched to medicaid while on the ACA for ages 55 to 65.

I've also suggested you look up Bill Spadea for NJ 101.5. If anyone knows attorney's trying to get this bill stopped, Bill would know who those attorneys are. Have you gone to his social media like Facebook or web site to try to contact him? Twitter

If you do contact him, make sure you're clear that it's being switched to medicaid while on ACA ages 55 to 65 because multiple people following your thread had no clue what you were talking about.

Good luck.
