Tijuana Brass and Boston Pops.....that's what I grew up with. The former is what I played at Mom's house, with the reel to reel tapes Dad made when he was alive, at the turn of the century.

I posted on social media that I hate this song and of course, now there's a flame war directed at me by people who do NOT hate this song! I finally said "Look, you can listen to it all you want - just not with me."
I haven't thought about that song in a long while. No intention of voluntarily listening to it.
Celine Dion asked to record this song. Her record sold 14 million copies, at $0.075 a record going to Dee Snider. He calls his house "the house that Saint Celine built".
Long ago my parents had what I think was a Christmas compilation album. I think it was from Sears or maybe Montgomery ward. Anyway, it had a wonderful version of rise up shepherd and follow and I’ve been looking for that forever. Anybody have any ideas?
Windham Hill has a series called "Celtic Christmas" which is a compilation of different artists. It's perfect for a quiet winter day--especially when your state closes down due to blizzard conditions and no one is allowed on the roads. Luka Bloom sings two of my faves though they're more of a "winter" theme rather than Christmas....
