Either Ricky Nelson or John Lennon. I'm not sure which came first. But the heart throb from John Lennon on the Ed Sullivan Show was so strong that I still remember it. My sisters felt the same way about him or Paul McCartney. Me...I was mainly a John Lennon fan. I had a Ricky Nelson album and remember looking at his big album cover while listening to the album, and being swept away by those beautiful eyes.
While too young to legally crush: I loved Bobby Vinton's blue eyes. He might have been the first.
The darker haired cop in Adam 12, never knew his name, but I sure thought he was handsome.
Robert Redford! Bigtime crushing on a man my mother's age!
Bob Crane and the professor on Gilligan's Island, because almost all of the men on tv during that time period were portrayed as stupid. What was up with that?
Dan Fogelberg.
Jackson Browne.
The only one that had staying power: Robert Redford.
I rode the train to Chicago and saw the film debut of "West Side Story" with my cousin. For years after I was sure the only man for me was George Chakiris. The purple shirt should have been a clue we were a mismatch. LOL.
After that it was the magical, mystical George Harrison. I still look at his son and think, "Oh Dhani, what a little sweetie you are."
