OK Boomers who will be the LAST 60's Top 40 music star to pass?
1, Must have been a part of a band or solo that had a Top 40's hit in the 60's.
2, Singer or musician that was actually identified as part of the group.
3. Excludes any member of the Rolling Stones. LOL, you know why.
If you were 18 in 1969 that puts you at about 70 today.
OK, is this one of those tontines, where the last survivor gets all the cookies???
Consider what you are asking. An easy way for you to understand might be for you to also ask of the older black community, using a pejorative term for them, who will be their first favorite gospel singer to die.
It is entirely possible that many of the people answering you will die prior to your end of your macabre contest. It is entirely possible that many of us find the use of a "Boomer" appellation by someone the socially inept mark of one who deposits t*rds in punchbowls for fun and excitement. It is entirely possible that some of us "Boomers" have mixed tastes in music and could care less about the longevity of those who thrive on public adulation in preference to expertise in music. I just finished watching Katia Buniatishvili perform Greg's piano concerto. Mind-bogglingly brilliant. Mind you, I still like Grace Slick, but there are times where her finding a note was a multi-choice question for the hearing impaired.
Bummer, Alice didn't hit it big till 1975 with "Welcome to my nightmare"
So, got to go with LULU for "To Sir, with love"
It's a smart bet since women live longer, but was Lulu ever in a band? I'll bet on Michelle Phillips from The Mamas and the Papas (definitely a band with hits in the 1960s, and she is the only one remaining).

Just looked. She is 77. Also thought of Grace Slick, now 82.
I think you're on to something about the women living longer than the guys, although I wouldn't bet on Grace or Mama Michelle after all that 60's lifestyle experimenting, Lulu seems better but she came along a few years earlier & so I guess may be the eldest.
Mick Jagger is in phenomenal shape so he could be a pick, Ringo is also... but he had a few "lost" years of bad behavior that may effect longetivity. I'll put my money on Graham Nash, he seems like a lucky dude.
