Maybe am showing my age here but it starting to bug me when people I've never met and or are younger than myself start using my Christian name as if we've been friends for ages.
Just got off telephone with CSR who ended every GD sentence with my name and had to bite my tongue from saying something.
When I was coming up you were taught never to address someone who wasn't family or friend by their given name. Even then when addressing older persons, those senior to you at work or something you put a "Sir" or "Ma'am" on end of things.
It doesn't bother me but since it does you, say something. You don't have to be nasty about it but a please-don't-do-that would not be uncalled for.
This. Its fixable, not worth getting your knickers in a knot. The other person doesn't know you yet and probably isn't a mind reader. If you prefer to be addressed differently, give them a chance to do what you want...educate them. A more subtle hint less obtuse people will probably pick up on would be to respond by addressing them the way you would prefer they address you (Mr. Knickers instead of Fred for example).

Use of your given name in every sentence is excessive, but I always try to use the CSR's given name in my closing Thank You, or if I hsve a specific question.

In some circumstances , rare, I will just say “ oh, just call me mrs b.”
It’s a shame you let yourself be bugged by it, especially as we age it’s like do we really need to sweat the small stuff. That said you can ask to be addressed the way you prefer.
I'd prefer my first name rather than "ma'am", guess everyone's different.
I can't remember the last time I called anyone Mr. or Mrs. <last name> in my adult life. Not even clients. Everyday life is just more informal now, I think.
