I love the Little Women version with Winona Ryder too. It is really well done and very picturesque.

Okay. I see you "Die Hard" but I'm gunna raise you "The Godfather." Stay with me here. Remember the scene before Michael goes to the hospital to save his Dad and they have all those NYC Christmas scenes? You just can't beat Christmas in NYC.

And ho, ho, ho to you too.

Well, if you folks say so.......personally, I've never seen either and neither gives me any motivation ever to see it. "Godfather" is for reasons already stated in the Mob Movies thread. "Die Hard" because it came out when Bruce Willis struck me as a loud mouth jerk, from his days on "Moonlighting"......and the scenes from the trailer did nothing to convince me otherwise that he wasn't that.

But as long as we are talking about "those Christmas" movies, how about....The Poseidon Adventure, Starting Over, and Batman Returns?

Oh, the scene with the bloody Horsehead really gets my Christmas spirit going -- LOL.

I am originally from Las Vegas so I like mob movies. But, Not For The Holidays and Christmas!

I will watch the ones I have seen 30 times like Frosty and Rudolph before rewatching the Godfather series.

Also there's the Focker / Meet The Fockers / Parents series -- the God Focker's -- LOL. Not exactly Christmas either, but, closer than The Godfather.

I really think Bad Santa and Christmas with the Kranks are two of the funniest (and still Christmas).

Thanksgiving night the Wizard of Oz, that's been a lifelong tradition since I was a kid, and Christmas, Die Hard (of course).

Yay! Another vote for Grump Old Men! I love Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon.
