I just got one and it doesn't fit in the trunk of my Bolt and between the front and rear seats it keeps rocking back and forth and making noises that annoy me and kind of hard to get in and out.

On the seat behind you? Maybe belted down?

I often give rides to people with those, I fold it up and store it upside down behind the passenger seat. No problem.

Takes up the whole back seat.
I put it on the seat.
I use the seat belts to secure it. That should solve your problem.

My wife’s was foldable. Fit nicely into the back seat. For her physical therapy sessions after knee replacement surgeries.

When I've given rides I'll just lay it sideways in the back of my SUV. If there wasn't room back there, I would lay it across the back seats.

Does the back seat on your Bolt fold down to give you more trunk space?

I tried again and it does fit nicely in the trunk. Just have to put it in a certain way. Itis hard on your back lifting it in and out.

Experiment. Can you rest one end of it on the rim of the trunk and use that as a fulcrum to lever it out/in of the car? You wouldn't have to lift the entire weight that way.

I have the European style that folds up to the middle when you pull up the flexible seat. It easily fits in the trunk. I chose the lightest ones I could find, aluminum or carbon fiber.
