For me, it's to be able to sleep as late as I want and to not jump out of bed but to laze there until I feel like actually getting up.

What's the best thing above all for you?

Knowing I can stay in when there's ice on the roads and don't have to go to work.

I agree.

I make my schedule now.

When it is snowing I don't drive.

Assuming reasonable health and enough money to live on, the very best thing about retirement is time ... time to do whatever you want to do and whenever you want to do it.

I no longer spend Sundays worrying about Monday.

Monday is just another day.

No more need to put on the smile while at work when actually you want to run out the front door and state, "Help ME"

Sleeping in until you feel like getting out of bed, not dictated by an alarm clock

I'm healthier, seemed someone was always coughing in the office and gettiing others ill....OMG, beautiful "no more"

The best, "Every day I wake up, "It's Saturday"...now that top's the cake, Yeehaw.....sorry, felt good....
