Anyone here catch Betty White on SNL last night? She is 88 1/2 years young and an inspiration to older folks everywhere. I think her retirement is just to be working less but she is obviously thrillled to still be going strong.

I did. She's über-cool in my opnion. I loved her as Sue Ann Nivens! Too funny for words, and may she live a lot longer. The whole SNL show was better because of her.

I think she was and is a very talented, and intelligent person.

But I do not admire her for being 88 1/2 "years young."

She is 88 1/2 years old, and one thing I admire is that she is not jackass enough to think she is young.

She is a brilliant, energetic, intelligent OLD person. It would be a godsend if the majority of people who are far younger than Betty White had what this OLD person has on the ball! What she's got most people far younger than her do not.
