I was hoping to get some general impressions of the areas around Providence.
Why? I'd love to be close to Providence, but I'm starting to think the kind of house my partner and I want is pretty rare there. Basically we want a porch and a yard without having to spend over 400K. I thought this sounded easy, but just researching places for sale on Trulia, maybe not. Even if such a place doesn't exist in all of Rhode Island, I'd love to hear a mishmash of opinions on the various places surrounding Providence.
