According to this article, the Obama administration has been focusing on criminal illegals- they don't have the resources for mass deportations.

US sweep for illegal immigrants: Is Obama searching for a middle ground? - CSMonitor.com
Horse hockey!

There, I just dismissed your entire article without having to do any research of my own Holly!

And that whole thing about Obama deporting more illegals in four years than bush did in eight? Welp, ya can't believe everything ya read!

See how easy "debating" is when your arguments are entirely lacking any actual facts? Just drop all this "knowing" stuff, and get on the Short Bus with us Holly.

That is compared to 1.57 million deportations that took place during former President George W. Bush’s term in office, meaning that President Obama is on track to deport as many immigrants in four years as Mr. Bush did in eight.
It's true...Bush was very weak on immigration...
It seams Obama is loosing support of the Hispanic vote, he has lost over 15 points, so he's trying to
get Congress moving on an amnesty bill, before the elections.
The Republicans would like that to be on the "New" Presidents agenda. So look for them to drag there feet on that. It's typical politics...both sides do it.

Since you want to award illegals for "breaking the law" here's a novel Idea, while you're giving them a free pass to a driver's license you may as well give them all a concealed carry permits. That way we won't ever have to worry about them illegally carrying handguns either! Let's give them all social security disability checks too so we don't ever have to worry about them being out of work either! Wake up and smell the Autocrat! They are breaking the law. May as well give Al-Qaeda a free pass to citizenship too!

If you talk to your average Republican, however, they are mostly under the impression that Obama is like the weakest President ever on immigration. Of course, many also think he's the Anti-Christ.

http://o.bamapost.com/

I hear "Obummer" coming from the posters here without any context about how he is tougher on immigration than any Republican Pres in recent History. Reagan, that Patron-Saint of Conservatism was weaker on it!

By the way: A hundred bucks says there is no chance, none - that Obama will lose the hispanic vote.

Won't happen. Of course it's not exactly a risky bet. It's kind of like betting the sun will rise on the same side of my house tomorrow that it did today.

Good grief, man. Can we cut down on the useless rhetoric, please? Doesn't this board have a politics and illegal immigration forum where you could rant in front of a larger audience?

Furthermore, decrying Obama as being complacent when it comes to illegal immigration is pretty rich. The guy is deporting people left and right at a pace which makes many of his supporters blink and wonder what his real agenda is.
Illegal immigration is an issue but it won't be solved through hypertension.

No award, REward. Who? That would be Gov. Lincoln Chafee doing the REwarding.
