Can someone tell me if its true, that a special licence was granted for Anthony Quinns body to be buried on his own land... I wasnt sure it that was allowed or not...
It was his widow who was granted the license, although I do not know
if it was his express wishes... Part of the estate was sold in 2006, but
not the part where his body is laid to rest.
The attorney who bought the adjacent property is a nice guy. I did the masonry in his home. The home is special. I took pictures. And I was told its just his asked in an urn displayed onobe of his works of art in the yard. I saw the statue and area but didn't go close enough to see or remember if there was an urn.

I came across Anthony Quinn just months before his death at the Providence Place Mall. I instantly recognized the Oscar winning actor and he could see that as our eyes met. I however left him alone out of respect. He was just another typical 85 year old out at the mall with his seven year old daughter.
I didn't know Anthony Quinn had a Rhode Island connection, much less that he was buried here. I used to work in the Bradbury Building in Los Angeles (known for its use in a variety of movies, most notably Blade Runner), and we had a great view of this locally famous Anthony Quinn mural:
