Is that a historical list? I ask because I thought several villages in West Warwick were mistakenly listed in Warwick - but West Warwick was Warwick until 1913, so I guess those villages WERE Warwick's once.


(And Harrisville, Coventry should just be Harris unless that also changed names through the years).

Thanks, I've always been unclear exactly where it was, but there's really not much resembling a village there now - very rural. I was under the impression from my mom that at one time it was more built up, but that it faded into history. I haven't been up that way in a while, I think I'll go exploring....

Sansonik, it is a historical list. One could probably spend a lot of time compiling place name lists (past & present) in RI.

Start with the Indians maybe.
