I've been on this forum for years, resumes are not required or solicited, sir/madam. No need to be nosey, ignorant, or prying. If you have something intelligent to say that is in response to the OP's post, go for it.
Have you helped the OP here at all -- or are you trolling my posts as another trouble maker !? Now you can politely get out of my life. Any more posts from you will be dealt with by the Moderators or the Administrator. Merci.
OMG .. relax. I am not trolling you ... you were the one who responded to my post. All I said was that I don't understand how people can give advice on areas they know nothing about. You took it personally. And yes .. I have been helping the OP .. if you took the time to read.
If you are flying to the area and choose to stay in or around downtown Providence, you would not need a car. You could get a ride from Green via cab or Uber or take the MBTA commuter rail (if its schedule aligns with your flights) to your place of lodging. All of downtown Providence is walkable. You could then walk to the train station and take the MBTA Patriots train to Gillette for the game.
Don't give my husband any ideas! We get a lot of requests to park in our driveway so people don't have to pay the parking fees but it's mostly for the concerts, not the football games. That's fine, I don't mind that.
But if the OP wants to send me a direct message with some of these addresses, I'd be happy to check them out for her.
Thanks CaseyB! I'll take a look at a few addresses and will send them your way to see what your thoughts are.

Do you think airBnbs near Patriot's place would be ok? It looks like the hotels at Patriots Place are sold out for that date.
I wouldn't recommend this. It sounds to me like you want to experience some local character on your football trip. If you stay at a Foxborough Airbnb, you're just staying in the suburbs. Like most suburban sports facilities, Gillette Stadium isn't exactly integrated into the neighborhood. That's the whole reason Patriot Place exists -- to create a sort of neighborhood around the stadium. So if you stay in Foxborough, you're almost certainly looking at an unpleasant walk to the stadium, or a drive, which would defeat the whole purpose of being local.
Your original idea of staying in Providence is a good one. Do that. The Brown area is great and you'll be able to walk to the train to the game.
