This definitely all sounds gang related, be it a retaliatory shooting or a "he was supposed to die...".

A little more info. on the two Elmwood shootings. The victim in last night's drive by shooting was a 29-year-old man, who's injuries were non life threatening.

Also, in 2018 Boulos' (the murder victim) brother Christian Pena was murdered in South Providence. Pena's murder was investigated for ties to his involvement with the "Throwback for Days" gang.

Police are now saying the 2 shootings in the Elmwood Historic District are "probably tied to one another".

https://www.wpri.com/news/local-news...-neighborhood/

"Police are investigating a possible connection between two shootings in Providence that occurred in the same neighborhood less than a day apart."

"The first shooting occurred early Monday morning, when 21-year-old Isaias Bulus was found shot to death on Atlantic Avenue. Later that night, another man was shot near a memorial set up for Bulus."

“[The shootings are] probably tied one to the other, but we haven’t yet, you know, completed and pulled all the evidence together to see what the motive is."

"Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza said the city is in the process of creating a system to help prevent gun violence."

"Police wouldn’t speculate if this is gang related, but did say they have some leads."

Comforting to know Elorza is on the ball...

Man in Woonsocket was shot and killed by his son. This happened at the man's residence in the Plaza Village Apartments, which is off Mendon Rd. (just south of Diamond Hill Rd.).

Police: man shot and killed by son at Woonsocket apartment complex

https://turnto10.com/news/local/man-...-in-woonsocket

"A family dispute turned deadly in Woonsocket where police say a man was shot and killed early Thursday at the Plaza Village Apartments.
“It was shocking,” Louie Augusta said about learning of the death of Adam Castonguay, 43.
Augusta owns Stanley’s Famous Hamburgers, where he used to work with Castonguay years ago.
“He was a great guy,” Augusta said. “When he worked here, he was a great employee, got along with everyone, very personable, hard worker.”
Castonguay was found dead, shot in the chest in the apartments off Mendon Rd. Police say the suspect who fled is the victim’s son, Alex Cote, 22.
“The female caller that was stating there were two adult males fighting or arguing inside the apartment,” Woonsocket Police Chief Thomas Oates said."

I don't think these are housing projects...just an apartment complex.

It kinda looks familiar. Have we discussed this place?

Default Wanskuck shooting - Hawkins Street

2 more people were shot in Providence tonight.

The shootings happened on Hawkins Street (at Salina Street) in the Wanskuck neighborhood. This is, unfortunately, pretty close to Mr. Lemon (best lemonade in RI).

I believe the exact location is where the red stairs are.

It definitely looks familiar, there was some complex along that stretch of Mendon Rd. that had an incident relatively recently (although I think this was also some type of "housing"). I know some of the apartments along nearby Diamond Hill Rd. are problematic, to include shootings discussed here.
