How is this even remotely relevant? This discussion is about whether or not it's a good idea for a grocery store to move into a location that is very close to another grocery store.
Why not? They're two different stores, each with devoted fans.
On Warwick Ave, Shaw's and Stop and Shop are across the street from each other and it doesn't seem to hurt etither of them.
Aldi's half and half prices are amazing. I used to go to Price Rite for that because they were quite a bit cheaper than anyone else, but Aldi's beats everyone.
Having said that, I haven't quite figured out how to shop there for more than a few things.

I don't think I understand the question. What do you do with half and half?
I don't do anything with half and half. That's why I'm asking. I guess it's for coffee?
If so, how much coffee do you guys drink? I mean, several people are talking about making (what seems to be) special trips to different stores to save 50 cents or a dollar on half and half. Are you buying this stuff in quantity?
^Right I can see it if you own a restaurant or something, but the amount one would use at home just doesn't sound worth the side trip to me. Not if that's the only thing you are buying there.

Who said anything about a side trip. We pass by Aldis pretty frequently. It's near my husband's bank, for one thing. Easy enough for one of us to stop by and pick up half and half or bread if we're low.
Why is this so hard to understand?
