I remember going to the old funky store in Cumberland that had the crazy funicular for your shopping cart.

I remember the Warwick one - and it was actually a store that you would have thought would have stood the test of time. It was ahead of its time really; it was Target before there was a Target, a discount store in a department store world. But it was better than those that followed, to us teenagers, because they had brand name clothing.

I just remembered, they had a Ticketron in the front of the store! I had forgotten about that. And a snack bar where we used to get pizza or hot dogs...

A significant portion of my childhood was spent at the snack bar (playing video games) at the Seekonk location.
