Right by City Hall, a man in his early 40s was stabbed while trying to break up a fight. This happened overnight (early Sunday morning), but did not specify the time. It said "Dorrance and Fulton Streets", which is of course where Haven Bros. is. I wonder if they were still open? And if so, is it safe to go there these days? It's a given that some of these late night food joints can attract trouble. As has been noted on several occasions, it's obviously a bad idea to hang around Johnny's Food Truck in the 3rd world slums of Broad St. after dark. But, I've personally never had problems downtown at Haven Bros.. Hopefully that's still the case, and one can still soak up their after hours buzz with overpriced greasy burgers in peace.
