It's the economy. Always has been, and always will be. And of the voters fretting the erosion of democracy, half are Blue blaming Red, and half are Red blaming Blue. They can't understand that they're both right. Two primitive and warring tribes aren't much fun to live with.

While I didn't know the Dr. well, we had been neighbors over the years. He loved to walk his dog & always had kind conversation. Never political with me. We both somehow knew it would go nowhere. It's sad he died so soon. While he seemed to become much less active of late, the local republican party will miss his sharp intellect & good spirit.

My childhood doctor was Dr. Harrop in West Warwick. Seems like that's his father. He was a nice guy, albeit with too many patients to be a really great doctor.
Many memories of sitting in his overflowing waiting room with a bunch of coughing patients, lol. I think his son was part of the Cardin drug store political scene, not sure when he moved
