It's a puff piece. Grooming. And it's not the first time for the Gray Lady. "Gina" has powerful and influential friends that want her at the top. Seriously, haven't you secretly wondered how this particular train wreck of a banker and politician ended up in a Cabinet position? Trouble is that nothing's for nothing in politics and she doesn't use her own money as currency. I have no problem with naked ambition, but not as a sole substitute for competence. Kudos to you though, there's a lot to be said for a magnanimous spurned lover.
