Hi everyone - I've been looking through the threads about RI public schools and was hoping to get a little information on the schools for Warwick's Cowessett area.
We currently live in Newport, but are new to Rhode Island in the last 3 years. Both my husband and I grew up in towns with excellent public school sytesms and now we're looking to move out of Newport as our daughter just turned 3 and we want a better school system. We scouted out Barrington and love the area and hear the school systems are the best, but we've heard so much negativity about the "elitist" attitude of many of the residents.
We were driving around E. Greenwich recently and crossed over Division Street and found the Cowessett community. There were some great homes for sale in the $400-$500 (couldn't find any we liked in E. Greenwich in that price range).
I've seen the test scores for the elementary & middle schools in the area, but I can't find information that details the neighborhoods and their coordinating district. If anyone has a link for the information, I would really appreciate it. And personal information on living in E. Greenwich and/or the Cowessett area of Warwick would also be helpful.
