Hi,
I just got a new job in Smithfield. I have 2 kids (a baby and a 10 years old), can anyone tell me about a nice place to live? (safe, good schools, playgrounds, etc)
Smithfield itself would be a great place. Greenville and the area around Bryant college has a lot of nice homes. A section called Esmond (including georgiaville) is a section with many historic single and multi family homes.
Scituate is a great town adjacent to Smithfield. The property taxes are are the lowest compared to other towns in the northwestern part of RI. Public School system is excellent.
St. Philip School in Greenville ( a section of Smithfield is a great catholic school. )
We are moving from Philadelphia, want to rent (condo or house) and we would drive 35 minutes aprox., public school.
