If I had a nickel for every time......is there some cap one policy mandating stupid/obnoxious driving for employees? Sure seems like it.

Speaking of which, to the bald ahole in the red convertible: you're this close to getting your car keyed. Try not to be an ass all your life.

The rest of you have a nice day.

It's all over Richmond. I used to live in Westover Hills and worked at Comcast. My commute was ten minutes, but I still ran into at least five idiots in that short time.

Come to Charlottesville my friend. It's smaller, but the level of idiocy I encounter on a daily basis is mind boggling. One very minor example. Just last night I am exiting onto the 250 bypass from rt 29 doing maybe 40. Which is quite fast for that particular exit. The speed limit is 45 at that area anyway on 250. Well out of nowhere some jerk comes up and starts riding my bumper in the exit as if I'm not going fast enough. He doesn't wait for me to even clear the acceleration ramp and aggressively whips around me in the far left lane. I merge onto 250 and as soon as I get into the right lane this guy gets right back in front of me and proceeds to do 60. Which is the speed I was going to go anyway. By now it's a 55 zone. This sounds like nothing here, it's just one of the many idiot things I encounter here on a daily basis. My friend and I refer to drivers here as "TC" drivers. Meaning; Typical Charlottesville drivers. On all of my many trips to Richmond, I have never encountered anything as brainless as I do here. I call it "entitlement" driving. It's as if people think they are entitled to drive how they want and everyone get the F out of the way. Laws? What are those? They're not suggestions people!

Are you talking about driving inside the WestCreek complex itself? You really cant go that fast with all the speed bumps in WestCreek. If you are talking outside the complex, then this is normal Henrico driving. If you are talking aout the parking lots themselves, then again this is normal Henrico driving. If you dont agree then drive in the Walmart parking lot at W. Broad/Pouncy Tract or drive across the road near the movie theater. The driving etiquette is much worse there and are probably used as training areas for new drivers in Henrico.

Then you havent been in Charlottesville long. Many of the roads there are very old and have rarely been updated to deal with the growth of people and commerce. That section between the onramp and barracks rd has always been a test on driving ability. Most entrances dont even have acceleration lane on that road. That entrance you MUST modify your acceleration for the flow of traffic and not the signs. This is a main reason why the road drops to 35 going the other way. There are no acceleration lanes as many of them have limited sight distance and thus requires gun-and-go to get onto 250.

Not sure what Henrico has to do w/it since we're talking Glen Allen, but I get your point. In fact why stop there, VA drivers are horrible...but it seems esp bad @ west creek to me.

Glen Allen is in Henrico. It is not its own county.

Its zip is 23238 & 23233 and thus not Goochland. There is a sign on and entrance to the road for WestCreek on route 6 in Goochland, but the complex is in Henrico.

This statement is wrong - as West Creek and Cap One's campus are located in Goochland, but it's not a big deal.

Why insult Goochland. Much better drivers and more relaxed people. WestCreek is so high strung Goochland didn't its zip code to be associated with it so they gave it a Richmond address. Let them get their mail from the other side of the fence.
