I had a recruiter contact me by phone, I returned the call, left two voice message.Even followed up by email, and still no response, I feel the recruiter realized, I was black, and would not respond to
my phone call.

I have shared my concerns with my twitter and face book family. And they agree, the world and the work place. Should
reflect of all people regardless of color.

I felt it was totally unprofessional, I have expressed my concerns on twitter and face book, and will also file a complaint with the better business bureau.Racist, Racist, Sad. a120f1

My husband has recruiters call him all the time (not from that particular group) then not return his calls... and he is white. Racism is alive and kicking, no doubt, but I'm not sure why/how in this case you concluded that's why your call wasn't returned? (I am especially perplexed given that it was a CALL, not like you sent him/her a photo...?)

I'm black and your reasoning is VERY weak..recruiters get dozens of phone calls and emails everyday..Just because they called you does not mean you are the "chosen one"

This environment of people screaming racism for ever damn thing has gots to stop..Did you even think that they called you but then found someone more qualified?? No of course not right.any company that really wanted me iI had no problem reaching someone in the know.I have personally had this exact thing happen to me.I called and emailed a few times.I licked my wounds redirected my attention to other offers and pursued, now i'm in afghanistan making 6 figures..I suggest you stop the witch hunt,re-evaluate your expectations and pound the pavement

Good luck

Honestly, you sound paranoid and insecure. Just because someone didn't call or respond back to you doesn't mean they are racist. Move on.
