I'm looking for an apartment for family that is moving to the area from out of state. I've visited so many apartments trying to help them narrow it down before they come here so they don't waste their time.

I'm really tired of seeing these photos of gorgeous, luxury clubhouses meanwhile the apartments themselves are grungy, outdated, cramped and some of them even smell. I can't tell you how many I've seen with dirty carpets! Anyway, any recommendations for nice apartments, preferably 3 bedrooms though they will take 2, preferably hardwood floors in the living room area (carpet in bedrooms is fine), preferably all on one floor though they will take bedrooms upstairs. Oh and dog friendly!

If anyone had a good living experience I'd appreciate the recommendation. They are looking around the far west end since that is where the husband will be working. So they'd prefer something not too far from Short pump but again they are trying to be flexible.
Thanks!
