Couple o' shots of Richmond taken with the handy-dandy cell phone so excuse the quality if they are not up-to-snuff...

These pics were taken around downtown during a little after-class OMG-Im-So-Bored walking tour of the area. These are from March I think. Maybe April.

Egyptian Building on MCV: Egyptian Building - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Around the Virginia State Capitol:

From the back:

Monuments/statues on the Capitol Property

Statue of Harry Flood Byrd

Shot of the Capitol Building:

The Executive Mansion:

Can't remember what this building was:

The view from the steps of the building pictured above:

Civil Rights Memorial @ Capitol Square

Another shot of the Capitol:

Historic Marker just outside of Capitol Square (near Old City Hall)

Old City Hall (I love this building! I want to go inside one day!)

Old City Hall and some other office building. I probably should know what that "other" building is but I'm going to use the "Im-not-a-native-Richmonder" as my excuse.

Monument and Old City Hall

VCU Children's Pavilion:

The current city hall: I hear it has a public observation deck? Must check it out one day.

Random pictures from Capitol Square:

Again, I apologize for the quality, they were camera phone pics.
And if I made any errors in labeling the buildings, feel free to correct me. Im new to Richmond.

Thanks for the comment. Its a Samsung Eternity phone. Its not the best phone (or the best camera) but its hard to beat for the $50 I spent on it.....

Those are pretty good cell phone shots.

Here's a neat Panorama from RyanR at RCW:

And something I came across at Church Hill People's News.
