First off, I'd like to say "Hey" to everyone because this is my first post.

I've recently been towed out of Lex's(3020 West Cary Street) parking lot (off of Sheppard between W. Cary and Elmont).

I've called Lex's to see if someone there called for me to be towed and no one called. So I asked Peaco why I was towed. Turns out they run a "24 hour patrol" in that area.

I was towed at 2:15 in the morning out of a public lot with no noticeable signage about towing or parking in the area (I'm taking pictures today)

Besides taking pictures, what else can I do to get my $125 towing fee back?

Thanks,

- K

Yeah, take pictures and confront them with it.

Peaco is pretty infamous around here. As are pretty much all the other towing companies.
Drivers are paid on commission so its no wonder why they are SUPER aggressive.

Yea, I've been in Richmond for about 12 years, but this is the first time I've ever been towed.

Just had to run to Richmond this morning to spring my daughter's car from Peaco. She lives in an apartment complex with a parking lot that is "serviced" by Peaco. She had her January parking pass displayed and had neglected to replace it with the February pass so I can accept the fact her car was towed, lesson learned. Went in, paid the tow bill, proceeded to go back to her apartment to drop off some things. Evidentally mentioning that we were going back there was all the opportunity they needed to follow us back and tow MY CAR!!! Went in for 20 minutes only to come out and find that they were after another $125. Guess it is my own fault but having parked there time and time before, never thought there was an issue. Watch your back with this bunch.
