Hey everyone! I am moving up to Roanoke from the Raleigh/Durham area and am in desperate need of some help finding a place to board my mare. She is a very easy keeper with no vices and can easily be put on pasture board. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!!!!

Hello. I noticed your post from last year. Did you find a nice place? I've relocated to Roanoke as well from NC and looking for a nice farm for my retired horse. Would love to hear any suggestions you have found.

It's one of the sites I code. I also own a horse farm in Boones Mill but we transitioned out of boarding. My wife concentrates on teaching riding students and has a few training horses at any given time.
The nicest boarding operation bar none is
Home . At $740/month it's overkill for a retired horse but it's worth mentioning. Then there is
Home closer to the lake. Or
Cobbs Mountain Farm . You could stop in at Southern States in Boones Mill and ask the owners for suggestions; they tend to know most of the horse folks in the region.
